Continental Association of African Filmmakers and Actors (CAAFA) was founded on 21st of April 2018 in Lagos Nigeria. The association is geared towards bringing together African Filmmakers across the African Continent and in diaspora, with the purpose of developing, investing, expanding and projecting the ideas and innovations of Africans through film. We are using film as a tool to ensure that Africanism is broadly promoted, to entertain, educate and sensitize the world through compelling and intriguing African Stories. CAAFA is represented in seven African Countries namely – Nigeria (Headquarters), Ghana, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Gambia, Kenya and Zimbabwe.
